Ultrasound Applications Specialist
Heska Canada Limited is in need of a qualified Ultrasonographer to carry out our applications training for our Veterinary clients who purchase ultrasound. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, and willing to travel within the province.
Candidates with veterinary ultrasound experience and RVT designation will receive special consideration, knowledge of GE ultrasound platforms is also an asset.
Applications Specialists can expect 1-2 training sessions per month and will be compensated an hourly rate per installation and reimbursed for travel and expenses. Responsibilities will include knobology training, briefly training clinic staff on scanning animals and image optimization, image storage and transfer, integration with practice management software etc.
Teaching support at our Ultrasound CE courses in the scan labs may also be required therefore Ultrasound teaching experience would be a plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are essential to this role.
