Dr. Matthew Holahan

Dr. HolahanDr. Holahan graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After practicing emergency medicine for two years, he completed a neurology internship in southern Connecticut. He returned to Michigan for a four-year residency in neurology/neurosurgery at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center and became a Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist in 2016. His primary interests include intervertebral disc disease, seizure disorders, head trauma, inflammatory nervous system disorders, and tumors of the nervous system.

 

Dr. Jared B. Galle

Dr. GalleDr. Galle graduated from Mississippi State University in 1999. Then, he completed a small animal internship at the University of Tennessee. After completing a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency at Auburn University, he became a Board-certified Veterinary Neurologist in 2003. Dr. Galle moved to Metro Detroit and practiced locally until co-founding Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center in 2011. His primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, spinal trauma, wobbler syndrome, inflammatory brain disease, and developmental brain abnormalities such as hydrocephalus and Chiari malformation.

 

Dr. Andrew Isaacs

Dr. IssacsAfter graduating from Iowa State University in 2001, he completed a small animal internship at Auburn University and stayed for a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency. He received board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2005, Dr. Isaacs moved to Metro Detroit and practiced locally until co-founding Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center in 2011. His primary interests include intervertebral disk disease, seizure management, luxations/fractures of the spine, and surgery for brain tumors.
