Basic Ultrasound Course (Hybrid) – Dartmouth, NS

This Veterinary Ultrasound course offers online lecture and 2 in person scan labs. Watch the lecture first, online at your own pace. Then come and practice your learning with 2 in person scan labs with our skilled instructors (4 x 3 hour modules).

This course will take you through the basics of ultrasound from equipment, knobology, physics and patient prep to understanding the scan protocols and recognizing normal anatomy of the main abdominal organs. The scan lab will focus on technique, knobology, and recognizing and optimizing your machine to produce your best diagnostic image.
